Leading Lawn & Garden PR Firm Seeks Public Relations Account Manager/M (Kennett in Philadelphia, PA

If you are passionate and competitive about digging up great placements for clients, this is the job for you. We are looking for an outgoing, creative person who knows the ins and outs of public relations and how to make news happen. You must be a self starter with initiative and leadership skills while at the same time a great team player. You need to know how to secure media coverage in national publications and build lasting relationships with clients, key influencers and the media. You must be a systemic thinker and strategic planner who can juggle several balls at once. You should be an excellent writer and communicator with 4+ years' experience in PR and working on multiple account activities. Consumer PR experience a plus. No two days are the same, but AE responsibilities include • Maintain and nurture exceptional client relationships • Build and manage clients' businesses by recommending, creating, and delivering effective public relations programs • Set priorities and maintaining deadlines • Create and prepare high quality written materials, including press releases, feature stories, fact sheets and media alerts • Prepare client reports, including monthly updates, quarterly and year end reports • Develop and maintain key relationships and contacts in all segments of the Lawn & Garden industry • Travel and participate in industry functions • Demonstrate strong presentation and networking skills • Deliver outstanding results If this sounds like a good fit and you want to be part of a growing, high-energy team, let's talk.
